Imagine eating, smiling and living with confidence again
This planning experience helps you understand your options, explore possible costs and create a personalised roadmap for your next discussion with the Norlane Dental team. It takes about ten minutes, and there is no obligation.

Reassurance first
Every plan begins with understanding, not pressure
Step 1 of 15 · Welcome
Step 2 of 15 · Understanding you
Which of these most closely describes your situation today?
Select everything that feels true for you. There are no wrong answers — this simply helps us understand where you are starting from. You can choose as many as you like.
Step 3 of 15 · What matters to you
What frustrates you the most?
Missing or failing teeth affect far more than chewing. Tell us what weighs on you day to day — it helps your dentist focus the conversation on what truly matters to you.
Step 4 of 15 · Lifestyle impact
How much do your teeth affect your life right now?
Move each slider to reflect your experience. As you do, your personal lifestyle impact picture updates — a simple way to see where treatment could make the most difference for you.

Step 4 of 15
Step 5 of 15 · Exploring the options
Understanding your possible paths
There is rarely a single answer. These are the main directions people explore — each with its own considerations. Your dentist will help you weigh them after a clinical and medical assessment.
Image
Considering your options
Option A
Maintain your current situation
Choosing to wait or continue as you are
A valid choice for some people. It can be helpful to understand what staying the same may involve over time so the decision is an informed one.
No new treatment or recovery period
Existing concerns may continue or change over time
Worth reviewing periodically with your dentist

Removable dentures
Option B
Dentures
Removable replacement teeth
A long-established, removable option. Modern dentures have come a long way. Comfort, fit and confidence vary between individuals, and they are removed for cleaning.
Non-surgical and often more accessible upfront
Removable; may need adjustment or relining over time
Some people find fit and stability take adjustment

Traditional implant treatment
Option C
Traditional implant treatment
Replacing teeth individually
Individual implants can replace one or several missing teeth. The number required and overall approach depend on your circumstances and a clinical assessment.
Fixed, not removed for cleaning
Number of implants varies by individual
Suitability assessed individually

All-on-X full-arch concept
Option D
All-on-X dental implants
A fixed, implant-supported full arch
All-on-X uses a number of implants to support a fixed set of teeth across an arch. It is designed to feel secure and stay in place. A comprehensive assessment is required, and it is not suitable for everyone.
Fixed teeth, implant-supported
Designed to support eating and speaking confidence
Comprehensive clinical and medical assessment required
Suitability is determined individually — not everyone is a candidate
● The focus of this planning experience
Educational information only. Nothing here is a diagnosis or treatment recommendation. Treatment options vary between patients, and your suitability for any option can only be determined after a clinical and medical assessment with a dentist.
Step 5 of 15
Step 6 of 15 · A gentle starting point
Could All-on-X be worth exploring for you?
A few simple questions help frame your conversation. This is not a diagnosis and it cannot confirm whether treatment is right for you — only a dentist can do that, in person. Answer honestly; nothing here rules you out.
Important. This is general information, not a clinical assessment or diagnosis. Suitability depends on an individual assessment of your health, jaw and circumstances. All treatment carries risks and benefits, and a consultation is required before any treatment options can be confirmed.
Step 6 of 15
Step 7 of 15 · Cost planning
Let's talk openly about cost
Understanding the financial picture early removes a lot of stress. Tell us which arch you are thinking about, and we will show an indicative range and the factors that influence it. Your individual treatment plan and price are confirmed only after assessment.

Step 7 of 15
Step 8 of 15 · A pathway worth understanding
Could superannuation help fund your treatment?
Some people are eligible to access their superannuation early on specific compassionate grounds, which can include certain dental treatment. It is not available to everyone, and it is decided by the ATO — but it is worth understanding whether it could apply to you.
Early release · compassionate grounds
Understanding the superannuation pathway
Early release of super on compassionate grounds is administered by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), not by the dental practice. Where treatment for you or a dependant meets the criteria, the ATO may approve access to part of your super to help pay for it.
Applications are made to and assessed by the ATO against published criteria.
Supporting documentation, including treatment quotes, is typically required.
Eligibility, tax and timing implications vary — independent advice is recommended.
Our team can provide the treatment documentation you may need to apply.

Choose the option that fits you — it shapes the superannuation section of your personalised plan.
General information only — not financial or taxation advice. Eligibility for early release of superannuation is determined by the ATO, not by Norlane Dental. Whether accessing super is appropriate for you depends on your individual circumstances. We recommend obtaining independent financial advice and confirming current criteria with the ATO before making any decision.
Step 8 of 15
Step 9 of 15 · Payment pathways
Ways people approach payment
Most patients combine more than one pathway. Below are the common approaches, plus a simple calculator so you can experiment with scenarios. Everything here is an example to help you plan — not an offer, quote or approval.
Upfront payment
Paying in full at the agreed stages of treatment. The most straightforward approach where it suits your circumstances.
Simplest path
Third-party finance
Dedicated healthcare finance providers offer plans that spread payments over time. Approval, fees and interest are set by the provider.
Subject to approval
Superannuation pathway
Where eligible on compassionate grounds and approved by the ATO, super may contribute toward treatment. See Step 8 for details.
ATO-assessed
Combination approaches
Many people blend pathways — for example, part upfront with the balance financed, or super alongside finance. We can help you map this out.

Estimate repayments
Explore payment amounts with MediPay
MediPay is a dedicated healthcare payment provider used by the practice. Enter an example treatment figure in their calculator below to see what repayment amounts could look like. Approval, terms, fees and rates are determined by MediPay, not by Norlane Dental.
MediPay is an independent finance provider. Any figures shown in the calculator are estimates generated by MediPay and are not an offer, quote or credit approval. Finance is subject to MediPay’s approval and conditions.
Examples only. Figures and scenarios on this page are illustrative and do not constitute an offer, quote, credit approval or financial advice. Pricing is indicative only and subject to clinical assessment. Finance is subject to provider approval and conditions.
Step 9 of 15
Step 10 of 15 · Comfort & calm
Nervous about treatment? You're not alone
Dental anxiety is incredibly common, and it should never stand between you and care. Tell us how you feel, and we will tailor the conversation — including comfort and sedation options — around you.
How do you feel about dental treatment?
Comfort options to explore
From gentle to fully asleep
The right approach depends on you, your health and your treatment. A suitability assessment is always required before sedation or anaesthesia.
Level 1
Local anaesthetic
Numbs the treatment area while you stay fully awake. The standard foundation of comfortable dental care.
Awake · widely used
Level 2
Happy gas
Inhaled relaxation (nitrous oxide) that helps take the edge off, wearing off quickly afterward.
Relaxed · awake
Level 3
IV sedation
Medication through a vein for a deeply relaxed, drowsy state. Suited to procedures of up to around two hours, so it may not be suitable for the primary All-on-X surgery itself — your dentist will advise where it can fit in your care.
Drowsy · shorter visits
Level 4
General anaesthetic
Fully asleep for treatment, with anaesthetist support in a purpose-built facility. Suitability assessed individually.
Asleep · specialist-led
Sleep dentistry
Treatment while you sleep at Geelong Sleep Dentistry
For patients who would prefer to be asleep, treatment can be carried out under general anaesthetic at Geelong Sleep Dentistry — a purpose-built facility with anaesthetist support. Whether this pathway is appropriate for you is determined by a suitability assessment.
